Sabrina Hernandez is an associate with Foulston’s litigation practice group in the firm’s Wichita office. She received her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law. Sabrina interned for Hon. Jimmie V. Reyna at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where she gained valuable insight into patent law, international trade law, and federal contract disputes at the appellate level. During law school, Sabrina volunteered in the Economic Justice Clinic and represented clients in landlord/tenant disputes, debtor rights and advocacy matters, and consumer protection issues.
In her practice, Sabrina helps clients navigate contractual disputes and nonsolicitation provisions, and represents a variety of businesses in restrictive covenant litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and creditors' rights matters. Sabrina also assists clients in a broad range of insurance defense and commercial litigation matters.
Prior to attending law school, Sabrina grew a business from the ground up. Her story gained national attention in Forbes Magazine and taught her the value of cultivating relationships, strategic planning, and operational excellence. The proceeds from her business allowed her to participate in a six-month Spanish language immersion program that took her through Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Sabrina speaks Spanish and is literate in Portuguese.
Sabrina loves to travel whenever the opportunity presents itself. She and her husband recently traveled by motorcycle from San Francisco to Kansas via the Pacific Northwest and upper Midwest. She is the oldest of five siblings and cherishes the role of big sister in her family.
