Profile

Andrew Wiederholt is an associate with Foulston’s litigation practice group in the firm’s Topeka office. He received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. Prior to joining Foulston, Andrew was a senior project engineer in the Transportation Group at Bartlett & West. During his engineering career, Andrew’s work focused on public works infrastructure design and construction projects for local and state entities. As an attorney, Andrew advises clients on construction- and engineering-related matters.

Andrew’s decision to go to law school was largely motivated by his career as a civil engineer. Opportunities to work for and with local governments, design professionals, and construction contractors taught him the importance of well-drafted and detailed construction documents as well as open and effective communication to a project’s success. Andrew’s hope is that his technical and practical experience will allow him to bridge the gaps that can exist between project owners, design professionals, and construction contractors.

Outside the office, Andrew spends his time with his wife Megan and kids Mary Ann and JJ. Together, they enjoy trips to the zoo, fishing, and attending as many sporting events that they can.
