Profile

Ms. Lemley focuses on complex litigation and the defense of professionals. Amy has defended hundreds of personal injury and medical negligence cases and tried more than seventy jury trials as lead counsel. She has represented many health care clients in the course of peer review investigations. She accepts carefully selected plaintiff’s cases, and was selected for the inaugural edition of the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers™ and has Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory’s highest “AV” rating for lawyers. She was the first woman attorney in Kansas to be named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® list and The Best Lawyers in America© as a leading lawyer in Medical Malpractice Law Defense and Personal Injury Defense Litigation in the United States. In 2015, Benchmark Litigation named Ms. Lemley a "Local Litigation Star" and one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation in the United States, and in 2014 she was recognized as a Top 50 Missouri & Kansas Women Super Lawyer®.
