Attorney Sam Walenz Joins Foulston’s Wichita Office

WICHITA, KAN. – Associate attorney Samuel J. Walenz has joined law firm Foulston Siefkin LLP’s commercial litigation and healthcare law practice groups. Walenz is based in the firm’s Wichita office, where he represents clients in commercial disputes before state and federal courts and provides advice on regulatory compliance to a variety of healthcare providers.
A Hutchinson native, Walenz returns to Kansas with private practice experience from a Florida law firm and as a law clerk for the Hon. Robert L. Hinkle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Before law school, Walenz attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his commission as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army. His service included two combat deployments to Afghanistan.
Walenz received his Juris Doctor at Florida State University College of Law, where he served as executive article selection editor and graduated Order of the Coif. He earned a bachelor of science in international and comparative legal studies from West Point.
