MV Purchasing provides gathering, transportation, storage, distribution, marketing and other midstream services to independent oil and natural gas producers, refiners of petroleum products and other market participants located throughout the United States. The firm provided real estate legal counsel in the acquisition and financing of crude oil pipeline assets in Oklahoma and Kansas from affiliates of JP Energy Development LP. The assets include the Great Salt Plains Pipeline. The Great Salt Plains Pipeline is a 115-mile crude oil pipeline that transports crude oil from northwest Oklahoma, near Cherokee, to Cushing, Okla.
