Mckenzie Meradith is an associate with Foulston’s litigation practice group in the firm’s Wichita office. She has earned first-hand experience in the judicial system through multiple clerkships and internships, most recently serving as a law clerk for the Hon. Chief Justice Susan L. Christensen of the Iowa Supreme Court. Additionally, she was a judicial extern in the US District Court for the District of Nebraska for the Hon. Brian C. Buescher, and served as a victim-witness intern in the Iowa Story County Attorney’s office.
Mckenzie also clerked for two years in corporate, litigation, and estate planning for a law firm, where she conducted research and analysis on matters including authorized agent relationships, attorney-client privilege, indemnifications, and the False Claims Act, drafted responses to requests for production and demand letters, and wrote briefs to support motions for summary judgment or to dismiss. She also assisted with estate plans and wealth transfer, operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, and deeds.
At Creighton University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor summa cum laude, Mckenzie’s honors and activities include serving as managing editor of the Creighton Law Review, the CALI Award for Excellence in multiple classes, 2021 Creighton School of Law Moot Court first place team, and president of Creighton’s Law Ambassadors.
Outside of work, Mckenzie enjoys reading, walking her dog, and playing pickleball with her fiancé. She is the youngest of two siblings and loves to spend time with her two nephews.
