Lauren Butler is an associate with Foulston’s healthcare practice group in the firm’s Wichita office. She assists healthcare clients in compliance matters and drafts contracts and agreements for healthcare providers.
Lauren received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she graduated first in her class. In law school, Lauren served as an Articles Editor for the Kansas Law Review and was a J.L. Weigand Trust Scholar. She previously clerked with Foulston as a summer associate in 2021 and 2022. During that time, she drafted healthcare client resources outlining the differences between powers of attorney, guardians and emergency contacts, lease amendments, and memoranda outlining state law changes in preauthorization requirements for physicians and healthcare providers.
As a Wichita native, Lauren is excited to be back in her hometown and closer to her family. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, and going for walks with her husband and their dog.
