Foulston Siefkin LLP lost a friend and retired partner of more than 40 years with the passing of Larry G. Rapp on Dec. 25, 2024.
Born in Kansas City, Larry attended Washburn University to earn a Bachelor of Arts in economics magna cum laude, followed by his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he served as editor of the Law Review.
Larry joined Foulston in 1979, where his interest in farming and ranching made him a natural to lead the firm’s agribusiness team for many years, as well as counseling clients on corporate, business, and finance matters. He was recognized by Best Lawyers® from 2009-2024 in the areas of Corporate Law and Equipment Finance Law. Best Lawyers® named Larry 2013 Wichita Corporate Law “Lawyer of the Year.” He retired from Foulston in 2023
Larry is survived by his wife, Dianne, two sons, and beloved grandchildren.
Larry’s deep faith was a core of his life, especially during his last years of illness, and his integrity, keen intellect, commitment to learning, and not least, his sense of humor and fondness for firm pranks, will be deeply missed.
